| This year's fall season will start off as it always does. Band camp starts Monday, August 23rd, and will probably end with a beach party on labor day weekend. Band Camp is usually referred to pre-season, this camp will last two whole weeks with the weekends as breaks, with a car wash. After labor day weekend we start the new school year on Tuesday. This year the "Mighty Oiler Band" (MOB), from Montebello High School, will play "The British Eighth March" by Zo Elliott on the streets. In case you don't know, the MOB is not a field show band, they have tried in a few competitions but end up in what they have mastered, the Street. For our Football halftime shows, we will start off with "Canzon" , and end up with different tunes each football game. These tunes include: Evil Ways, Hey Pachuco!, and Great Balls of Fire. |
